Part 1 of 2 -his mini- Ashley Quinn, the fireman turned part-time superhero, confronts Adam, the alien from the future who plans to enslave the human race. Adam has sought out Quinn to retrieve the regeneration unit that saved Quinn’s life and gave him the ability to control fire as Ash. Quinn’s survival will have a detrimental effect on Adam’s plans in the future, so Adam quite simply and condescendingly demands the unit and Quinn’s loyalty…or life. Quinn declines, the two do battle, and in the resulting blaze, Ash emerges.
