As a result, with readers in control of the plot, the super-strong Fairchild, the party animal Grunge, the gravity-controlling Freefall, the plasma-firing Burnout, and the weather-manipulating Rainmaker find themselves caught up in a mind-boggling adventure that includes ill-considered marriages, drag queen parades, and lingerie boutique battles.
