By Kesel, McNiven, and Simmons. Jad receives a strange summons that forces him to leave Hesperia behind. Sephie’s crusade picks up steam and a new crew of volunteers, including the fiery Sabette, all willing to risk the wrath of Ilahn to pursue the dream of a Demetria open to free trade. Ilahn, meanwhile, has returned from “Heaven” with plans for Demetria that start with the destruction of Meridian.
